The latest from Bentley - the all-new redesigned 2011 Continental GT, has officially been revealed via the internet with the physical unveiling to the general public coming September 30th at the Paris Motor Show. Crewe's design and engineering teams have renewed the highly successful and most popular Bentley ever. Originally introduced in 2003, representing the first step in Bentley's renaissance, the new Continental GT builds on the success of its predecessor with even higher standards of design, engineering, luxury, craftsmanship, dynamic performance, everyday practicality and refinement.

New for the 2011 Continental GT:

Acclaimed 6-liter, 12-cylinder, twin turbocharged powertrain now has a raised power output of 567 bhp and 516 lb ft or torque. 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds and 0-100 mph in 10.2 seconds.
  • Late 2011 Bentley will unveil a high-output 8-cylinder engine that will result in a 40% reduction in emissions compared to the W12.
  • New sculptured exterior design featuring upright matrix grill and new 'double horseshoe' rear profile first shown on the Mulsanne.
  • New interior with a bold new dashboard and internment panel in soft-touch leather hides.
  • Redesigned front seats and new touchscreen, 30 GB infotainment system with Google Map compatibility.
  • New transmission with 'Quickshift' system that cuts shift times by 50% and enables double downshifting.
